Marc: I assume that you know what you are doing, but, I am concerned that the webbsite is being forced into silence by the bashers “takeover” methodology. I respect your wisdom on this, I just wanted you to know that I think that you are doing a great and just job and I will support whatever move on this issue that you make.

Marc, I hate to demonstrate my ignorance, but, my intel was messed up by my security site and I get no audio. Can’t repair for a while. Can you put a post on the Miquelon.com site that explains what this “comedian” is saying. I do appologize for my shortcommings.

Fred, missed these two messages previously - about the video, sorry I don’t have the resources to do a full transcript. but he’s basically turning the “we saved your asses” argument on its head by recalling his recent binge drinking episode and - not remembering saving France. Point he is making: nationalism makes you say stupid things and take credit for things you never did.
About the site, comment moderation is exhausting, especially when some users make comments that undermine the credibility of the entire site with blanket statements.

Marc, Just as a point of reference, Americans generally consider the losses in our Civil War to be of both the North and the South combined. Using that interpretation our Civil War had 203,000 killed in action, 620,000 total killed (bad wounded survival rate), and an additional 412,200+ wounded. Just thought that you would like to know.
